Transferring and backing up data

Outlook stores local mailboxes and archives as PST files. You import these from an older Outlook version via “File” → “Open & Export”. IMAP and Exchange accounts synchronise their folders directly with the server. For backups, copy the PST files regularly to an external drive.

2. Start the setup and follow the installation. Uninstall older versions of the same program first.
