Office 2021 Home & Business is made for the self-employed, freelancers and small companies: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, plus Outlook for e-mail, appointments and contacts. Unlike Home & Student, this edition is expressly permitted for business use.

You receive a perpetual licence for one Windows PC, which you activate online with the product key. A Microsoft account is not required.

If you want the latest features, such as the new text functions in Excel or Cameo in PowerPoint, choose Office 2024 Home & Business. For everyday letters, spreadsheets, presentations and e-mails, Office 2021 offers everything you need, and files are fully interchangeable between both versions.

Buy once instead of subscribing

Microsoft 365 costs money every year and in return provides cloud storage and a steady stream of new features. You pay for Office 2021 once; the programs stay on your computer permanently and continue to receive security and quality updates via the Office update function. If you don’t need cloud extras and store your files on your own PC, on the network or with a cloud provider of your choice anyway, the perpetual licence saves you a considerable amount over the years.

Installation and activation

1. Have the product key and download link from our e-mail ready.
2. Download Office using the download link and start the setup. Uninstall older Office versions and trial versions beforehand.
3. Open an Office program, for example Word, and enter the product key when prompted.

Do I need a Microsoft account?

No. Office 2021 is activated online with the product key; a Microsoft account is not required.

Does Outlook work with my mailbox?

Can I transfer Office to a new PC?
