With this edition you run Office 2019 Standard centrally on a terminal server. Your users access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher via Remote Desktop, without Office having to be installed on each computer.

You order from three licences and receive one licence for each unit purchased. Private use is also possible.

Office 2019 or a newer version?

Office 2019 is a proven perpetual licence and has been the standard for years in many companies, schools and clubs. If you work with colleagues or customers who use Office 2019, you get the same interface, the same menus and the same features. On top of that, Office 2019 Standard for Terminal Server is the most affordable way to get a full Microsoft Office without a subscription.

If you need features such as XLOOKUP or dynamic arrays in Excel, choose Office 2021 or Office 2024. The file formats are the same in all three versions, so documents can be exchanged without any problems.

Buy once instead of subscribing

Microsoft 365 costs money every year. Office 2019, by contrast, you pay for once, and the programs stay on your computer permanently. For many users who mainly write letters, maintain spreadsheets and create presentations, this is the most economical solution – especially when several devices need to be equipped. You save your files as usual locally, on the network or with a cloud provider of your choice.

Installation and activation

1. Set up Remote Desktop Services (Session Host) on the Windows Server.
2. Install Office 2019 on the server using the installation package from our guide.
3. Activate Office with the key supplied.
4. Users sign in via Remote Desktop and can start working with Office immediately.

May I also use the licence privately?

Yes. The licence is mainly intended for terminal servers and Remote Desktop but can also be used privately.

Do I need a Microsoft account?

No, activation is done with the product key.

Are the client access licences (CALs) included?

No. Client access licences for Windows Server and Remote Desktop are ordered separately.
