This edition of Office 2016 Professional Plus is intended primarily for terminal server and Remote Desktop environments. Office is installed once centrally on the server, and your employees work with it via Remote Desktop from the office or from home.

Office 2016 or a newer version?

Office 2016 has been in use in offices, practices and public administration for many years. The interface is familiar, the programs run smoothly even on older computers, and if you work in a team with colleagues who also use Office 2016, you have the same menus and functions everywhere. Office 2016 is also one of the most affordable ways to use a full Microsoft Office without a subscription.

If you need newer features such as XLOOKUP or dynamic arrays in Excel, choose Office 2021 or Office 2024. The DOCX, XLSX and PPTX file formats have remained the same since Office 2007, so documents can be exchanged between versions without any problems.
